This topic can go either way. NASA is spending away a lot of the governments money on trying to create some way of living on the moon. When we could be helping with world hunger, poverty, and the Thailand Cyclone. But one day our in our world disaster will strike and will have to be prepared to jump ship. So this topic can easily go either way.

Global warming is happening. If we can't stop it than we need to find another way to live. Through NASA's work it is possable that we could find a way to put a man on Mars. Once we are able to put a man on Mars than we will be able to find out more about it. When we we know more about the planet than it is possable that we could find a way to live on Mars. When global warming is finished it will have flodded the planet. If we don't have a back up plan than we will all die. This is why I think that NASA is getting enough money. I think that we could take money from the war and use it to help or space progaram so if global warming happens faster than we thought it would than we thought it would, we would need a back up plan and faster
